Christ Church Preschool is a partial day program offered

throughout the school year.

 

We offer programs for children ages 12 months to 5 years.

 

We created our Transition class for those children who are Kindergarten age, but would benefit from a bonus year of school.

 

Private Kindergarten prepares children for first grade with a full curriculum within a loving Christian enviroment.

 

Our tuition includes an outstanding learning curriculum as well as many additional enrichment opportunities.

OUTSTANDING CURRICULUM

At The Christ Church Preschool we are committed to providing excellence in early childhood education by providing a framework for best practice. This framework is grounded in the research on how young children develop and learn. Our program is designed to promote optimal learning and development. Our teachers will meet your child where they are (by stage of development), both as individuals and as part of a group; and helping each child meet challenging and achievable learning goals.

 

Infants, Toddlers, & 2’s = Wee Learn Curriculum (Christian-based thematic curriculum)

 

3’s = Wee Learn, Count on Math, ABCs, Handwriting Without Tears

 

4’s = Wee Learn, Count on Math, ABCs, Handwriting Without Tears II

 

Transition = Wee Learn, ABCs, Handwriting Without Tears III, phonics & reading,

Count on Math & ACSI, along with Kindergarten Math.

 

Private Kindergarten = Handwriting Without Tears 1st grade, reading and phonics. Fountas & Pinnell’s Benchmark Assessment System, Tara West’s Kinder Math - Little Minds at Work, Kinder Social Skills, and Kinder Science curriculum.

 

All of our children attend Chapel, Music & Movement, and Spanish weekly. Children have the opportunity for gross motor play daily.

Spiritual Development for all ages

All of our children, infants to Kindergarten attend weekly chapel/worship. Chapel consists of music, prayer and Bible lesson. Chapel is held in the Sanctuary.

 

The children in our 4-year-old, Transition, and Kinder classes have Faith Formation Class weekly. This special time is when we build on the week’s Bible lesson with interactive discussion time, crafts, and games.

 

Chapel is led by Lynette Read, Director of Children’s Ministry.
