We offer programs for children 6 weeks to Pre-Kindergarten as well as our unique Transition class.

 

We created our Transition class for those children who are Kindergarten age, but would benefit from a bonus year of school.

 

Private Kindergarten prepares children for first grade with a full curriculum within a loving Christian enviroment.

 

Our tuition includes an outstanding learning curriculum as well as many additional enrichment opportunities.

SUMMER CAMP 

 

Let each child explore, play & learn in a safe loving enviroment

 

Summer Camps are for children who have completed Kindergarten through the completion of 4th grade. 

 

Weekly Summer Camps are offered May 27th through August 1st.

 

Camp hours are Monday through Friday, 6:30 am to 6:15 pm.

 

A balanced lunch, morning & afternoon snack are included daily. 

 

Each week of camp is theme based. All curriculum and activities are designed to fit the theme with engaging and fun activities. 

 

Our camps are designed to let each child explore, play, and learn within a loving Christian environment.

Spiritual Development for all ages

All of our children, infants to Kindergarten attend weekly chapel/worship. Chapel consists of music, prayer and Bible lesson. Chapel is held in the Sanctuary.

 

The children in our 4-year-old, Transition, and Kinder classes have Faith Formation Class weekly. This special time is when we build on the week’s Bible lesson with interactive discussion time, crafts, and games.

 

Chapel is led by Lynette Read, Director of Children’s Ministry.

Spiritual Development

OUTSTANDING CURRICULUM

At TCT we are committed to providing excellence in early childhood education by providing a framework for best practice. This framework is grounded in the research on how young children develop and learn. Our program is designed to promote optimal learning and development. Our teachers will meet your child where they are (by stage of development), both as individuals and as part of a group; and helping each child meet challenging and achievable learning goals.

Infants, Toddlers, & 2’s = Wee Learn Curriculum (Christian-based thematic curriculum)

 

3’s = Wee Learn, Count on Math, ABCs, Handwriting Without Tears

 

4’s = Wee Learn, Count on Math, ABCs, Handwriting Without Tears II

 

Transition = Wee Learn, ABCs, Handwriting Without Tears III, phonics & reading,

Count on Math & ACSI, along with Kindergarten Math.

 

Private Kindergarten = Handwriting Without Tears 1st grade, reading and phonics. Fountas & Pinnell’s Benchmark Assessment System, Tara West’s Kinder Math - Little Minds at Work, Kinder Social Skills, and Kinder Science curriculum.

 

All of our children attend Chapel, Music & Movement, and Spanish weekly. Children have the opportunity for gross motor play daily.

Our children enjoy:

Balanced Lunches & Snacks – Planned and prepared by the Nutrition Coordinator. For children with food allergies, suitable substitutions are available. Monthly menus are updated each month on our Calendar page.

 

Outdoor Play Areas – Includes five playground areas, a planting garden, nature trail, and a courtyard. These areas provide opportunities for fun, stimulating playtime, and exploration.

 

Spanish Instruction – Our children go to our Spanish classroom, where they are taught basic Spanish words and sentences through exciting play, games and song.

Music and Movement – Helps children to develop skills such as balance, coordination, rhythm, sportsmanship, listening, and general gross motor development.

 

Yoga Class – Teaches children proper and effective breathing techniques, balance, stretching and strengthening in a manner that is fun and engaging.

 

Chapel/Worship Time – During this very special time, our children hear the Bible story of the week and get to ask and answer questions. We sing and we finish with the Lord's Prayer. Families are welcome to attend.

 

Special Enrichment Events – We offer many enrichment activities during the year. Please view our calendar for upcoming events.

 

Internet Cameras – Allows parents to monitor their child’s progress while at home or work.
