PRAYER REQUESTS

Prayer opens our hearts to the power of God’s love. Prayer is how we become channels of God’s love for the world.

Prayer is a gift from God – He wants to hear from us!

Pray for Others – If you would like to be part of Christ Church’s prayer chain and receive emails with prayer requests from our congregation, please contact Rev. Ellen Kent.

The Prayer Tree is located in The Commons and a part of the Prayer Ministry. Complete a prayer “leaf” and it will be prayed over by the church.
If you would prefer a more private prayer request, you can contact Rev. Ellen Kent.

PRAYER PARTNERS

Children experience the presence of God in all kinds of ways, especially when they’re surrounded by people who example Christ to them. Think how loved and valued a child feels when an adult or high school student sees them in church and simply calls out to them by name! Or sends them a card. They experience belonging. So as a part of the Prayer ministry we are offering an intergenerational Prayer Partner program for children ages Kindergarten through 3rd grade. This commitment is until the end of this summer 2022. When possible, partnerships will be assigned between adults and children that do not currently know each other to increase connections.

Experience the presence of God, a sense of belonging, and hope for the future.
Contact Reverend Ellen Kent if you are interested in participating in this program

COLUMBARIUM – “The Garden of Grace”

A place of eternal rest for the cremated remains of our members and their families. The Memorial and Meditative Garden is conveniently located adjacent to and visible from the sanctuary. Many Christians prefer burial space near their church; our Columbarium allows our members to retain a connection with the church in death as well as in life and provides a place of peaceful meditation and consolation for the families and friends of the deceased. WEDDINGS

Your wedding is a day to be remembered and cherished as you take your vows in front of family, friends, and God.

Christian marriage is proclaimed as a sacred covenant between one man and one woman.

We welcome both members and non-members to be joined together in Holy Matrimony here at Christ Church.

The decision to perform the ceremony is the right and responsibility of the Senior Pastor, in accordance with the laws of the state and the United Methodist Church.

BAPTISM

People of all ages can be baptized at Christ Church. We baptize by sprinkling Holy Water.  The Methodist Church recognizes baptisms at any age from other Christian denominations and therefore does not “re-baptize”.

We want to make your baptism a memorable occasion. We look forward to assisting your family with planning this special day.

LIBRARY

is a great source of resources for the entire congregation. Are you signed up to give a Sunday School lesson and at your wits end? The information you need is probably in the library.
Just looking for a good Christian fiction book? We have a large collection. Do you enjoy short devotionals? Lots to choose from. Interested in reading about family and marriage topics? We’ve got that, too.
The library is located on the 2nd floor of the main bldg.
